Executive Chairperson

Shirley has been with the Group for 19 years with experience in all aspects of the Retail and Financial Services divisions.  Prior to joining, she was a fund manager at several asset management firms.

Shirley was appointed as executive Chairperson of the Group on 1 June 2020.

Finance Director

Joined in August 2019 as the Finance Director of the South Africa operations. 
Previously worked as CFO for the Cape Union Mart Group, responsible for the Finance and Technology functions. Also held senior finance positions at Massmart.

CEO of HomeChoice Retail

Joined Homechoice in January 2020

Previously on Shoprite Checkers board as Director of Financial and Value-added Services.  Also at Massmart as the Group Financial Services Executive, responsible for Financial and VAS and cellular businesses.

Sean Wibberley
CEO of FinChoice

Co-founded FinChoice in 2007 

Before headed up the American Express charge card portfolio for Nedbank.  Prior was a senior consultant for Deloitte Consulting.
